15 minutes into the road trip

I'm on my way for a short weekend trip to the family farm with my friend Mark and his daugter Colby. 15 minutes down the road in a Jeep with the windows down and she's out cold.

Maybe it's the innocence, or maybe its the lack of knowledge that you aren't supposed to be able to fall asleep when there's lots of noise, or perhaps there is a more mysterious explanation for the things that children are capable of doing.

Either way, I miss it.
